Your Newhaven was a pilot project funded by the Department of Levelling Up Housing and Communities (DLUHC) to test the use of innovative digital tools, in an effort to make the planning process more open and accessible. Your Newhaven was designed to help provide information on the Regeneration projects which have been able to secure funding and are being delivered over the next few years, but also to pilot methods of engagement. • The results have been used to help inform decision making processes - view the results of the West Quay Car Park Consultation. • We particularly wanted to hear from younger residents - view the results of our Youth Survey. • The summaries of all your responses were shared widely, particularly to help influence the use of outdoor recreational space and to improve health and wellbeing. • The results have also been used to influence the design of Newhaven’s Wayfinding and Public Realm Improvement Scheme. The pilot period has now come to an end and resource will be focused on delivering these exciting projects for Newhaven.
